Lets Be Friends recently unveiled an incredible remix of Kalm Kaoz’s “White Rabbit” as part of ID&T’s new record label, which will be part of the official theme song for this year’s inaugural Mysteryland showdown during Memorial Day Weekend in Bethel Woods, NY.
The thrilling remix has ‘White Rabbit’ singing of Alice and her journey through Wonderland, chasing rabbits and eating mushrooms. The mysterious and stuttered vocals create a suspenseful build that leads to a wobbly and irresistible electro drop. The electric guitar remake was done by the LBF boys themselves, impressive! This ‘White Rabbit’ remix was a great choice for Mysteryland USA and plays perfect homage to the original grounds of Woodstock. Take a listen and grab your copy today!

Dutch grown and festival headlining DJ, Afrojack has a lot of fans excited for his upcoming studio album, Forget the World, set for release next week on May 19th. “Illuminate” is listed as the second track on the album and features the vocals of the well-known vocalist, Matthew Koma. The tune, overall, is a refreshing feel good progressive house production that Afrojack played for the first time at Ultra earlier this year. The large crowd he gathered received it quite well, and we’d expect it to be one of the front running tracks on the forthcoming album. Listen to the live rip from Ultra below and if you consider yourself a die-hard Afro fan, this album is sure to have many progressive and electro goodies similarly to this one.
The East and West coast join forces on this massive collaboration, effortlessly blending the signature styles of Varien and SirensCeol into an emotionally melodic dubstep production. Vocal commander Aloma Steel provides a breathtaking performance with a chilling sound that will trickle down your backbone. Imagine nightfall has arisen and the moon has shed a piercing ray of light upon a woodland warrior who is battling to the cues of a grand symphonic orchestra with electronic intricacies. The exquisite power that this Monstercat record captures is a phenomenal portrayal of beauty.

Tiësto threw the dance music community a curveball when he premiered his new single, “Wasted”, a little over a month ago at Ultra Music Festival. Since then, the track has become adored by many and is now starting to achieve some commercial success. Although Tijs is starting to make his way onto the radio, that does not mean he has forgotten his roots. In order to make a more dance floor/festival-friendly remix of his latest tune, the superstar DJ enlisted the best person possible for the job: himself! Under his alias, TST, Tiësto brings the big-room sound to his indie-electronic crossover and turns it into a track that will get the masses jumping. This latest remix from the Dutch producer has us even more excited for his upcoming album, A Town Called Paradise, which is set to be released on June 16th. While we continue to patiently await the album’s release, we can only hope that Tiësto will continue to provide us with new tunes to hold us over until then.

Afrojack‘s well known for his very distinct Electro and Dutch House sounds that most of his releases and sets revolve around. Hard, sharp, wild baselines fused with a big festival sound make up his usual modus operandi. However, with “Keep Our Love Alive,” Afrojack embarks on another one of his rewarding forays intoProgressive House and produces a Progressive anthem with a solidly uplifting beat that’s seamlessly imbued with Matthew Koma‘s amazing vocals.
Matthew Koma himself hasn’t participated in any writing, producing, or singing in the electronic dance music scene since his EDM singing debut in Zedd’s “Spectrum” and Alesso’s “Years” (he also co-wrote Ingrosso and Alesso’s “Calling (Lose My Mind),” instead opting to write and produce some of the biggest songs from Carly Rae Jepsen’s Kiss album (including her single “This Kiss”). However, we’re unbelievably glad he’s back singing on Progressive and Electro House tracks and hope he stays.
Sampled in some of his sets as early as February under a different working title (“Magic”), “Keep Our Love Alive” was premiered by Afrojack to enthusiastic reception during his set at Creamfields 2013, the renown British dance music festival. It might change names again before release, but whatever the end title is, we’re ridiculously excited for the actual release.
Axwell and Sick Individuals highly anticipated track, “I Am”, featuring the vocals of Taylr Renee, is coming closer to fruition as the official preview has just been released on SoundCloud. You may have already heard this progressive house song because Axwell, along with other big names, have been playing it in places such as Ibiza for the past few months. “I Am” has all the ingredients needed to be a big room house anthem. The vocals are a delight and the melody is very Axwellian in nature. Overall, the preview is rich with immensely high quality production, which we’ve become accustomed to from the Swede. This release should also stir up some excitement, because it is quite interesting to see what Axwell has been working on since the split of Swedish House Mafia. It is also an interesting track from the usually much more aggressive progressive house style we’ve seen from Sick Individuals.
